Our Story

Our story began when we started planning our own wedding. Yes, we planned our wedding ourselves!

Long before the big day, we knew that we wanted to build an event-planning business together. We both had years of experience planning and coordinating different kinds of events, and we believed that our combined skills could become something meaningful. So, while planning our wedding, we decided to approach it not only as a couple preparing for our special day, but also as event planners building a foundation for what would eventually become Fullness of Joy Events.

We started early. We created a realistic budget, researched and visited venues months before our proposed wedding date, developed our guest list, created vendor lists, compared options, planned our timeline, and paid attention to the many details that make an event come together successfully. When our wedding day finally arrived, we handed the coordination over to a trusted friend so that we could enjoy the moment as bride and groom.

That experience gave us something invaluable: a working template for planning and executing weddings from start to finish.

Since then, we have continued to refine that process, learning from every event and making our systems better along the way.

Our experience goes beyond weddings. Ms. Joy is also an experienced MC who has hosted and handled children’s parties, corporate events, birthdays, celebrations, and other memorable occasions. Together, we also bring experience from planning and supporting events both locally and internationally, including events connected to international organisations such as the United Nations.

But Fullness of Joy is not just about our experience. It is about what we want to do with that experience for you.

We know that planning a beautiful event does not have to mean spending beyond your means. One of our biggest motivations is to help couples and clients create memorable events without breaking the bank. Our own wedding showed us that with proper planning, the right vendors, good budgeting, creativity, and attention to detail, it is possible to have a beautiful and meaningful celebration within your means.

At the same time, we understand that every client is different. Whether you are planning an intimate celebration on a carefully managed budget or a luxurious, elaborate event where every detail needs to be exceptional, we are ready to work with you.

From weddings and bridal celebrations to children’s birthdays, adult birthdays, private parties, corporate events and special occasions, we bring the same commitment to planning, coordination, creativity and execution.

Over time, we have also built a network of trusted vendors and service providers whom we can confidently recommend to our clients. Where appropriate, we also handle certain aspects of event production and coordination in-house, giving us greater control over quality and execution.
